This project was born out of a deep sense of parental love and its design was created for an apartment that will serve as their daughter’s first independent living space.
When conceptualizing the project, the daughter was still in school but preparing to enter university. The apartment was prepared just in time for the start of her university studies, allowing her to have a space to kickstart her journey towards independence and self-sufficiency.
All decisions regarding the interior were made with the intention of creating a tranquil, harmonious and cosy space where one can immediately feel warmth and a sense of home. Even though the project was approved by the girl’s father, the design aligns with her own well-established taste. She specifically requested calm colours and the use of natural materials.
The young customer has a strong affinity for wooden textures. To cater to their tastes, the designers have suggested a colour palette featuring warm beige and chocolate shades, as in the TV viewing area and bathroom adorned with natural chocolate-coloured veneer panels. Every material used in the design is carefully chosen for its durability and timeless appeal. Marble, travertine and natural textiles are seamlessly integrated, ensuring a cohesive and enduring aesthetic.
The functional and comfortable kitchen sets a certain style in the apartment, ideal for a young person who studies and uses this area as a study space, and its standout feature is the island with a marble countertop. The simplicity of the lines and slender geometry of the interior is immediately visible from this point, highlighted by a stylish cubic hood and a panelled wardrobe for outerwear at the entrance.
Naturally, all the rooms are equipped with furniture designed for storing books in a practical and aesthetically pleasing manner. The lighting in the girl’s bedroom creates a pleasant ambience, with glass facades and a spacious wardrobe playing key roles. There is also a guest bedroom available for parents or friends to stay overnight.
