An Interior That Overcomes Challenges
This apartment project began during a time of great adversity. Frequent power outages forced craftsmen to carry every piece of equipment and material up to the 13th floor manually. All work was completed using autonomous energy sources, demanding swift action, creative solutions, and exceptional coordination. Despite these obstacles, KOSHULYNSKYY & MAYER, together with a highly skilled team of contractors, brought to life an interior that merges advanced materials, technological precision, and contemporary elegance.
Refined Craftsmanship and Local Identity
The project proudly highlights Ukrainian craftsmanship. All furniture, decorative elements, and finishes were custom-made by local manufacturers, enhancing the project’s uniqueness while supporting the national creative economy. At the heart of the concept is a refined fusion of natural materials, exclusive design pieces, and the delicate minimalism characteristic of Minimal Fusion style.
Master Bedroom: Where Sophistication Meets Function
The master suite impresses with a bold layout that offers fluid transitions and spatial clarity. The entry flows through a walk-in wardrobe and bathroom zone, enhancing privacy while reinforcing a sense of openness. A handcrafted stone sink placed within the open-plan bathroom evokes luxury and hotel-like elegance. Layered lighting offers ambiance throughout the day, while rich plaster textures and textile accents add character and emotional depth. Glass partitions preserve a feeling of openness while maintaining comfort and intimacy.
Children’s Room: Built for Growth and Imagination
As always, KOSHULYNSKYY & MAYER designed with the future in mind. The children’s room was developed with adaptability at its core — a space that can transform over time. Dynamic elements shift with growing needs, while vivid colors, geometric accents, and ergonomic furniture create an inspiring and functional environment for development.
Open-Plan Living: Flow, Rhythm, and Modern Poise
At the center of the apartment lies an open-plan living space that seamlessly unites kitchen, dining, and lounge areas. Clean lines and a carefully considered composition showcase the finest attributes of contemporary interior design. True to minimalist principles, every appliance is concealed, allowing clarity and calm to take precedence. Furniture pieces are streamlined, surfaces are fluid, and the layout is intelligently responsive to daily life.
Geometric lines establish a visual rhythm, while curated art brings emotional nuance. A standout feature is the painting “The Kiss” by Ukrainian artist Viktor Shtets, positioned between the windows — a symbolic anchor celebrating family, harmony, and permanence.
A Quiet Celebration of Technology and Design
This is more than just an interior — it is a curated dialogue between proportion, innovation, and serenity. Crafted for those who appreciate understated luxury and thoughtful architecture, the space is sophisticated without the need for loud declarations.
This apartment design has been featured in international publications including Archello and Design Skill.
